dc.description.abstractThe era in which we live has been described, rightly, as the information age. Every day we are bombarded with information. Huge areas of rapid growth are the networks through which transferred data. This thesis focuses on networks, and more specifically in wireless networks fourth generation. It tries to capture briefly switching from wireless networks in previous generations, ie the first of the second and third generation to generation of the near future, foreshadowing the fourth generation of wireless technology. It also examines the features, technologies and applications of the fourth generation wireless networks and concludes by analyzing and evaluating the performance of networks fourth generation (4G) in the ITU X.805 standard.el
